Quick Details About Hepa Air Cleaner
Q:Can air purifiers be harmful?
A:Specific effects may include throat irritation, coughing, chest pain and shortness of breath, as well as an increased risk of respiratory infections. Some ozone air purifiers are made with an ion generator, sometimes called an ionizer, in the same unit.
Q:Should I leave my air purifier on all the time?
A:Yes, it's safe to leave your air purifier on all day. But, you need to make sure that you clean the filters about once a month. The filters trap heavy amounts of dust and allergens which can be harmful to sensitive groups if they're not cleaned consistently.
Q: What are the side effects of air purifier?
A: Specific effects may include throat irritation, coughing, chest pain and shortness of breath, as well as an increased risk of respiratory infections. Some ozone air purifiers are made with an ion generator, sometimes called an ionizer, in the same unit.
Q: How can you tell if an air purifier is working?
A: A simple way to test that your purifier is working is by checking the airflow out of your purifier. Air purifiers have a fan that draws in air from inside the room. As the purifier filters out harmful pollutants from your air, the purifier will blow out clean air.

Air purifiers come labelled with a Clean Air Delivery Rating (CADR), a metric developed by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM). The CADR rating helps consumers understand how fast an air purifier can clean the air within a particular room. It shows the speed at which the air purifier can filter out dust, smoke, and pollen molecules (the three most common pollutants).
On average, dust particles vary between 0.5 to 3 microns. Smoke particles range between 0.1 to 0.3 microns. At the same time, pollen particles are 5 to 11 microns in size.
CADR is also measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). To illustrate, an air purifier with 500 CFM can purify a 500 square feet room faster than one with a 400 CFM. Therefore, the higher the CADR number, the quicker the filters can refine the air.
