Hepa Air Filter Quick Details
Q:Is air filter good?
A:The air filter was able to reduce both PM2. 5 and PM10 to 0.3, which was an air quality improvement of 96.7%. Overall, it's excellent performance, just not the absolute best we have seen across all air purifiers we've tested to date.
Q:When should I change my air purifier filter?
A:We recommend you change filters every six months or less, depending on your usage. Use the Mi Home app to monitor filter lifespan and receive notification reminders when your filter needs replacing.
Q:Should I sleep with air purifier opening?
A:YES.(AAFA) recommends an air purifier during bedtime to promote better breathing while you sleep.

Hepa Air Filter Features
The filtration efficiency is up to 97%-99.99% for motes of 0.1-0.3pm( The particle caused by smoking is 0.5 diameter). It can realize air purification by removing the dust, pollen, smoke, coal , bacteria, radioactive material and impurity iron.Selecting the filter media and filter domention and shape according to filtration efficiency, ventilation volume and resistance to fit the air purifier.
HEPA Filter
HEPA filters are the current industry standard for the best filters you can get. As mentioned previously, HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air, designed to trap 99.97% of particulate matter that is 0.3 microns in diameter.
With that said, you should look for air purifiers with True HEPA filters as they are the most efficient in ensuring clean air quality. If you want to avoid odours and gases, you can also look for HEPA and activated carbon filters.
Air purifiers come labelled with a Clean Air Delivery Rating (CADR), a metric developed by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM). The CADR rating helps consumers understand how fast an air purifier can clean the air within a particular room. It shows the speed at which the air purifier can filter out dust, smoke, and pollen molecules (the three most common pollutants).
On average, dust particles vary between 0.5 to 3 microns. Smoke particles range between 0.1 to 0.3 microns. At the same time, pollen particles are 5 to 11 microns in size.
CADR is also measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). To illustrate, an air purifier with 500 CFM can purify a 500 square feet room faster than one with a 400 CFM. Therefore, the higher the CADR number, the quicker the filters can refine the air.
